The nice thing about beginning hiking is that you don’t really need any special gear, you can probably get away with things you already have.
Let’s start with clothing. A typical mistake hiking beginners make is wearing jeans and regular clothes, which will get heavy and chafe wif they get sweaty or wet.

To start, print out the hiking guide and map. If it’s raining, throw them in a Zip-Lock bag. Read over the guide, study the map, and have a good idea of what to expect. I like to know what my next landmark is as I hike. For example, I’ll read the guide and know that say, in a mile, I make a right turn at the junction..

NLC is about to launch the nunc. coffee ecosystem, which will connect the entire coffee value chain to give farmers, roasters, baristas and coffee lovers what they deserve - from fair prices to exceptionally good coffee. Yukawa is a key partner for NLC in developing and implementing a digital ecosystem. In the course of this process, an IoT system architecture has been created that includes a variety of interconnected applications.

Task

The NLC ecosystem aims to brew and serve exceptionally good coffee from fresh ground beans.

Approach

Yukawa is a key partner for NLC in implementing a digital ecosystem that consists of an IoT system architecture involving a variety of interconnected applications, such as a coffee device display and parts of the embedded components, a central cloud server infrastructure, a mobile app, a graphical user interface for the administrators to manage the coffee devices and its components, in addition to comprehensive data analysis and visualisation features. The ecosystem enables NLC to enjoy over-the-air functionalities (such as predictive maintenance, remote controls and, telemetry systems).

Result

Over a period of several months, Yukawa has been working with NLC and its partners in an entrepreneurial manner to create a complete new and fascinating category within the coffee industry.
